HQCC opened its mission centre at Gulam Abad Tehsil Kamoke in District Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan on 16^th October 2024. The aim of starting this project. 

Approximately 30 Christian families live in Gulam Abad village. The nearest village to Gulam Abad is Kotli Maharan which is 1 kilometre away, and have almost 25-30 Christian families. In the radius of 1 to 10 kilometres 150 Christian families are residing. There are inadequate schooling arrangements in the village. Village still lack proper school building, medical facilities and sanitation.

A closed old barn was rented and then renovated to set up a HQCC mission centre, this mission centre is hosting skill training for women who do not have any formal education or skills. In the first week of opening this centre 35 students rolled for 6 months sewing course.  

After learning the skill, the women will be able to earn respectfully and support themselves and their families Each week there will be Children activities, and elderly get-togethers to show them Christian films and give them bible studies. 

One of the students Samina who is widow and mother of 2 children said “I am thank full to God for this opportunity to get sewing training, as after my course finishes, I will be able to run my own shop to earn for my children”
